Open Poetry, Revolution Records' monthly poetry reading presented by 8th St. Publishing Guild, stumbles into fall. There will be featured readers followed by an open mic. All are welcome and encouraged to read or just listen!

Our monthly People's Market featuring free food, clothes, literature and workshops. We've partnered with Kansas City Food Not Bombs, The Really Really Free Market, The KC Democratic Socialists of America and more to provide help to anyone in need. This month we'll also be doing a free day at Revolution all day long featuring free records, CDs, tapes, stereo equipment, and more. The Really Really Free Market will have their table set up all day long as well.
Our next reading in our monthly series, Open Poetry will kick off with featured readers followed by an open mic. Free/all ages/open to everyone.
Our third People's Market, free and open to all. There will be free hot meals, free clothing and other donation items alongside free literature and access to many great local organizations. This month, there will also be a free self defense class.
